  • No account is needed to use Peckit.
  • We never see which apps you block or how you use them.

1. Who we are

Peckit (“we”, “us”) is operated by [LEGAL NAME / BUSINESS NAME], based in Cebu, Philippines. This policy explains how the Peckit apps for iPhone and Android and the website getpeckit.com handle information.

2. Information that stays on your device

To work, Peckit stores the following only on your phone: block schedules, the apps and categories you choose to block, reminders and their history (such as when you tapped Done), tasks, alarms and your “held back” counts.

iPhone: Peckit uses Apple’s Screen Time framework. Apple gives the app private tokens instead of app names, and app usage data never leaves your device. Android: Peckit reads which app is in the foreground on your device, only to show the block screen during your schedules. This is never sent to us.

3. Information we may receive

  • Support messages: if you contact us, we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to help you.
  • Purchases: payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of a purchase, never your card details.
  • Crash reports: [CONFIRM: whether crash or analytics tools are used, which ones, and what they collect. Remove this item if none.]

4. Permissions the app asks for

  • Screen Time (iPhone) / Usage access (Android): to block the apps you choose during your schedules.
  • Display over other apps (Android): to show the block screen.
  • Notifications and alarms: to ring reminders until you tap Done.

You can turn these off anytime in your phone’s settings. Blocking or reminders will stop working without them.

6. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and similar laws where you live, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. 7. Children
